About us
Midez is a group of professionals held together by the same motivation: people. Based in La Rioja, Spain, we search wherever the best match for what you need happens to be.
Each of us comes from a different trade and brings their own contact book. That is the difference between an agency and a database: when a difficult vacancy comes in, someone on the team already knows who to call.
We find talent where others do not look for it. We work mainly with professionals from Spain and Romania, and widen the search to the rest of Europe when the profile calls for it. Because skilled people are not always where you need them: sometimes they are in another market, waiting for the right opportunity. At Midez we know where to find them and how to connect them with you.
Hospitality, elderly care and technical or hard-to-fill roles. Outside that, we say so and point you to someone better suited.
Every search has one consultant assigned to it. The same person who calls you, runs the interviews and presents the three finalists.
We put in writing what we saw in each finalist, including what did not convince us. No dressing it up, no selling smoke.
We stay with you through the whole process: from the first call until the person has joined and settled into the job.

How we work
Nobody here is going to tell you we are "agile". We tell you exactly what happens at each stage.
You tell us the role you need to fill and ask for a call. No commitment.
We go through what you need in detail: the role, the terms and the profile that fits. With that we send you the quote and get to work.
We do not post an ad and wait. We go out and find your candidate wherever they are, even if they have a job today and have not thought about moving.
Three finalists interviewed in depth, each with a written report and references checked with their previous managers.
The company and the candidate handle the negotiation; we pass on the salary range you give us and stay with it until the person signs, starts and settles into the job.
What we commit to
That is how long we take to get back to you once you send us the vacancy. And if the profile is a difficult one, we say so in that first conversation, not three weeks later.
Of guarantee. If the person is not the right fit or leaves within the probation period, we run the search again at no extra cost.
For anyone looking for work. We never charge a candidate, not to register and not to be put forward. The fees are paid by the company doing the hiring.

Our online application form is currently in Spanish only. If you read Spanish you can use it here; otherwise email is just as good, a person reads every message. We keep your CV for two years and never charge you anything.

It depends on the role and how hard the search is. After the 30-minute call we send you a fixed quote, with no surprises. Fees are paid up front, before the search starts.
On the first call we give you a realistic estimate for that profile. We reply to any enquiry within 48 hours, and if we can see the role is going to be difficult we tell you in that same conversation.
If they are not the right fit or they leave within the probation period, we run the search again at no extra cost.
The company and the candidate negotiate directly. We pass on the range you give us and stay in the conversation so there are no misunderstandings on either side.
Hospitality, elderly care and technical or hard-to-fill roles. If your vacancy falls outside that, we tell you and point you to someone who will cover it better than we would.
Never. Not to register, not to be put forward, not to be hired. Our fees are always paid by the company. Spanish law also requires job placement to be free of charge for workers.
No. Your profile travels anonymously until you decide you want to go to that interview. Your name is not shared with anyone without your permission.
We keep it for two years so we can consider you for roles that fit, and we only share it with companies that are hiring. You can ask us at any time to send it to you or delete it.
Yes. We search mainly in Spain and Romania, and actively across the rest of Europe when the profile calls for it.
